Volunteer
Blackland CDC has been built on the generosity of people who show up. Whether you have a few hours, a professional skill, or a team looking for a meaningful project, there is a place for you here.
Administrative Support
IT, organization, and general office upkeep. Background check may be required.
History Project
Help assemble BCDC's historical exhibit at the Fannie Mae Stewart Conservatory.
Stewart Garden
Plant vegetables, spread mulch, and meet your neighbors.
Professional Support
Pro bono legal, financial, marketing, or trade services.
Painting the Streets
Help paint the traffic circles BCDC has adopted throughout the neighborhood.
Property Support Days
Quarterly. Spruce up properties and restore native plants.
On-Site Opportunies
From Home
Care Package Workshop
Assemble care packages for neighbors facing hardship. BCDC handles the distribution.

Advisory Council
Join the Team.
BCDC is building an Advisory Council of people who are connected, committed, and ready to do real work. Council members attend quarterly meetings, join committees aligned with their expertise, and actively help the organization grow toward its $20 million vision.
